Hello. I have just purchased this 1996 328i Convertible from an auction, so I don't have the history on it. 1. The cover does not close all the way. (see picture). I will try to adjust the latches. 2. When I lift the back of the roof, to a vertical position, the cover DOES not clear the back of roof.
Now I remove the hard top and the soft top wont close. I tried to re-sync it (pulled the manual lever under rear seat, removed the fuse #7, open the trunk and re-engaged both motors to the gears, closed the trunk and replaced the fuse #7. push the convertible button down, start the engine wait for ten seconds until the boot cover close down
