I can tell you that as you acquire more force/BD-1 abilities, traversal gets faster. You open short cuts, and gain some abilities to cover gaps you couldn't before. In the second half of the game I was not overly bothered by the trips back to the ship.

Bloodborne and other Souls games managed to do it because it really didn't affect the story and Souls games in general give you a lot of freedom to experience the game/story. But Fallen Order revolves heavily on experiencing the story when accesing certain areas, so it would break the game to access those areas before time. Quite unfortunate.
However and somewhat contradictingly, a recent benchmark of this game with different DXVK solutions seems to point to less stuttering using an older version of "Async" (dxvk-async 1.10.3) or even "regular dxvk" (DXVK version 2.3) as producing even less stuttering than the latest and more upket GPLAsync version (2.3-1, at the time), so better luck might be had using those.
